SICILY. Syracuse. Hieron II, 275-215 BC. AE (Bronze, 22 mm, 8.93 g, 11 h), circa 263-218. Diademed head of Poseidon to left. Rev. IEP-ΩNOΣ Ornate trident head flanked by two dolphins; to lower left, HP. CNS II 194 R1 9. SNG ANS 968. A lovely piece of fine style and with an attractive patina. Good very fine.
